CUPE Local 784 Members,
Your committee met with the Board on March 10, 2023 to exchange proposals for the start of negotiations. We then sat down for more substantive discussions on April 20 and 21, 2023. We were able to agree and sign off on 6 non-monetary articles. We are currently working towards improving the non-monetary yet important language in your collective agreement.
During negotiations the agreed items and exact topics of discussion are only discussed at the table until we have concluded bargaining either at the table or in mediation.
We encourage you to communicate your solidarity and any questions you have with any member of the negotiating committee listed below. We remain committed to reaching a fair agreement at the table for all CUPE Local 784 members, that protects your jobs, and gives all members fair wages and benefits.
