ATTENTION CUPE LOCAL 784 MEMBERS
CUPE Local 784 Members,
Your committee met with the Division on July 27, 28 and September 22, 2023. We have done a lot of work and have almost concluded all our non-monetary items. We agreed and signed off 10 articles which we believe improve the conditions for members. We next plan to sit down with the Division in November to continue negotiations.
Over the last few months, you may have seen the colour purple show up in schools. This campaign has been running province-wide and is about raising awareness for improved wages for workers in the education support sector.
We encourage you to wear purple every Wednesday to communicate your solidarity. Any questions you have please contact any member of the negotiating committee listed below. We remain committed to reaching a fair agreement at the table for all CUPE Local 784 members, that protects your jobs, and gives all members fair wages and benefits.
